ACC Committee Charge Revisions

ACC approved on October 22, 2024.

The proposed changes were forwarded to the Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on Handbook Revision for inclusion in the Faculty Handbook to be considered by the Faculty Senate.

Background

The Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on Handbook Revision is working to update and consolidate the Faculty Handbook and nine appendices into one document. As part of this process, the Committee has asked each Senate standing committee to review its charge and membership in the Senate bylaws (currently, BL 7.3 for ACC). The ACC proposed revisions meet current standards and terminology and correct outdated information.

The Faculty Senate will vote on each section of the revised handbook separately, with a final vote on the omnibus document before it is submitted to the Board of Trustees for final adoption.

ACC Action

ACC approved the proposed revisions on October 22, 2024, and forwarded them to the Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on Handbook revisions for further action.
