Background
At the January 28, 2025 Faculty Senate meeting, the Senate Executive Council made a motion to add campus emergency information to the syllabi policies page.
During discussion, Senators raised concerns about whether students would see the information in a syllabus and whether syllabi is the best place for the information in the context of existing resources and communications channels.
Senate Action
The motion was defeated by a vote of 8 in favor, 16 opposed, 1 abstention.
