Background

On March 4, 2025, ACC approved the cancellation of the following courses that were part of the now-cancelled General Science/Science Education Graduate programs:

  • SCED 580 – Science Teach Problems Elem. School  
  • SCED 582 – Topics: Physical Sci. Elem School  
  • SCED 583 – Topics: Elem. Sch. Biological Science  
  • SCED 584 – Topics: Elem. Sch. Earth Science  
  • SCED 584A – Earth Science for Elem. Teachers  
  • SCED 590 – Science Teach. Problems/Jr & Sr. School

ACC Action

On April 8, 2025, a motion made by Rebekah Paci-Green, and seconded, to approve the SCED course cancellation memo for the courses that were approved to be cancelled at the March 4, 2025 ACC meeting. The motion was approved unanimously.
