Syllabus Requirements and Guidance Policy Revisions

Effective May 18, 2026 via approval of ACC minutes by the Faculty Senate.
Background
On April 14, 2026 Commissioners discussed proposed changes to the Syllabus Requirements and Guidance Policy as part of its annual review process. In addition to technical edits, proposed changes include adding language to clarify that the syllabus course description must match the University Catalog description and the curriculum review proposal. Language is added to the Syllabus Guidance and Recommendations regarding accessible links and a clearly stated AI policy for the course.
ACC Action
On April 28, 2026, a motion by John Hardgove (and seconded) to approve the proposed revisions passed unanimously.
